She designed one of the first ultralight tents for the through hiker.

Noall Tents (1-909-659 4219)                            Trekker Standard 1 person Four Season/Expedition Tent

"The Trekker tents are all NEW for 1998, thanks to the persistence and hard work of Sandra Johnson and the cooperation of Leki(TM) hiking poles! The Trekker line of tents offer three tent designs that require no tent poles for support other than the Leki(TM) hiking poles you already own. If you have another brand, they may work, but check it out.. if you don't have hiking poles be sure to choose Leki(TM) The Trekker tent is a single wall, A-frame design with a front entry vestibule and rear window awning. It has a full bath tub floor made of 200 denier oxford nylon with a 1.5 oz. urethane coating. The tent walls and vestibule entry are constructed of Titantex(R) (1.1 polyester ripstop with a laminated layer of titanium dioxide). It features a No-See-Um net door behind the vestibule and a closeable rear window. There is a large pack locker under the back window for stowing gear out of your way. A utility cord with loops runs the whole tent length for hanging items, and a net pocket is located near the front door. This is a comfortable way to go lightweight and the hiking poles are easily removed for day use!"
