AWARD REQUIREMENTS

For awards requested on this sheet, the adult signature certifies that all the conditions listed below have been met.

1. Hike the entire route as described for the trail.

2. Follow the Outdoor Code, all National BSA Rules including the obtaining of a tour permit and all rules and requirments of the agency (National Parks Service, Forest Service, etc.) responsible for the area being hiked.

3. Have sufficient adult leadership (defined as 21 years or older and designated for this hike by the Troop Committee or Scoutmaster) to provide a minimum of two adults throughout the hike. There must be at least one adult for each 8 Scouts.

4. Conduct while hiking and in camp is courteous and respects the privacy of others; in no way despoils or disfigures the landscape; and is above criticism or complaint.
